Eps-Topik Nepali Book (the “App”) is developed by Min Bahadur Chhetri (“we”, “our”, “us”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the App and related services.

1) Information We Collect

Account Information — If you log in as a registered or Pro user, we collect your email and password via Firebase Authentication.
Learning/Usage Data — Study progress, last access time, basic interaction logs stored in Firebase Database to improve your learning experience.
Device/Diagnostics — Device model, OS and app version may be processed for stability and troubleshooting.
Advertising — Google AdMob may process Advertising ID and anonymized usage data to serve ads to free users.

2) How We Use Your Information

Provide login, Pro access validation, and personalized study features.
Improve content quality, fix bugs, and enhance performance.
Show ads to free users via AdMob.

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

3) Account, Pro Access & Registration

Account registration and Pro purchases are handled only on our official website: https://epstopiknepalibook.com. The App verifies your status using Firebase Authentication connected to your website account. In‑app purchase is not used.

4) Permissions We Request

Storage — save PDFs, audio files and app cache.
Internet — load study content, ads (for free users), and authenticate login.
Media Playback — play audio lessons and listening tests.

5) Children’s Privacy

The App targets EPS‑TOPIK learners aged 13+. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us to delete it.

6) Data Security

We rely on Google Firebase’s security and encryption. While we take reasonable measures, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.

7) Third‑Party Services

Google AdMob

Serves ads to free users and may collect identifiers to deliver and measure ads. See the Google Privacy Policy.

Firebase (Auth/Database)

Provides authentication and stores usage data. See the Firebase Privacy & Security page.

8) Data Retention & Deletion

We retain data while your account is active and as needed to provide services. You can request data deletion or account removal anytime by emailing [email protected].

Access a copy of your personal data.
Request correction or deletion.
Withdraw consent (e.g., by uninstalling the App or requesting account deletion).

10) International Transfers

Your data may be processed on servers operated by Google outside of your country. By using the App, you consent to such transfers subject to applicable law.

11) Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy. We will post changes on this page and update the “Last updated” date above. Significant changes may be notified in‑app or on our website.
